Clean Beauty
Ocean, Sun, Earth, Atmosphere: put these core elements of wellness together and you have OSEA. Osea products have been on my bathroom shelves for a few years now, but I’ve been excited lately to see them getting a flurry of attention in my feeds, because I can’t tell my friends about them fast enough.
OSEA was founded in 1996, but is a generational story of a family of women whose belief in the healing powers of the sea has led to groundbreaking innovation and leadership in the clean beauty movement.
I don’t know how they manage to do it, but when I use these products, my shoulders literally fall down from my ears, just like they do when I’m standing at the ocean. The Salts of the Earth Body Scrub is what I plow through the fastest. It’s award-winning, and when you use it, you’ll know why.
It exfoliates you while also quenching you: it somehow makes your skin silkily moisturized as it scrapes off the sluff. My husband curiously used it recently and I heard shouts from the bathroom: “HOW DO THEY DO THIS?! THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!!”...and he’s not one to pick through my beauty cabinet.
As much as I love using OSEA’s luxurious products, what I’m most inspired by is their story. It’s one we can all relate to, of perseverance, passion, and the power of following your own intuition despite odds stacked against you, on a journey to build a business that helps change the world.
