“I have followed Jen Widerstrom on social media and other fitness platforms for years. I know that Jen has heart and compassion in addition to years of knowledge in her field of fitness.When I heard about Forena I did not have to hesitate. I jumped in with both feet. This app has everything I like and need bc I get to choose what serves me. I love the 10k step daily challenge and the Daily Sweat workouts, but it’s the community that keeps me in. We have live workouts and Live Team Huddles via Zoom with Jen too. (I have taken the Carb cycling challenge too and not only did was I a winner, I lost 20 pounds and gained my confidence back. )Jen goes above and beyond to facilitate our own physical fitness journeys and also gives us opportunities to think and share with “Five in Flow”. We were invited to be a contributor on the app and I jumped at the chance to write about a product I couldn’t live without. I enjoyed that so much (or seeing my name in print ) that I started to write a children's book on my own. A Unique & Powerful Space
“Jen has created such a unique and powerful space in our online community, Forena!! The workout blocks change regularly (so you're never stuck in a boring routine), and yet, are so well planned, challenging and can be modified to suit your specific needs. They can also be done at home or in the gym, which is really valuable to me, as a working mom. But more than just the physical experience, Forena has given me the opportunity to grow my self-awareness and to more deeply understand my health and wellness in a holistic way. I am so grateful for the experience of having to think through my own "why?" or how I can empower myself in my health and wellness. It really has helped me to unlock some behavioral patterns that had gone unnoticed or just ignored for years. Finally, I have to shout out Jen and the members of our community who make it such a special place - we are consistently welcoming, we take the time to answer questions to support each other's journey, and most importantly, we cheer for and challenge each other in such a joyous way! “I started training with Jen two years ago, honestly because I was looking for a quick way to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I thought I would join, lose all the weight, and then quit. The journey has been unexpected and I have found so much more! I have learned more about my overall health, and, while the scale isn't as low as I wanted it to be initially (but my clothes fit again!), I can lift heavier, run faster, and dig deeper than I ever could before. “On April of 2020 I did my first online class on Facebook with Jen.. then she started workouts on an her app, Förena Daily, which I decided to try. During the pandemic I worked from home and used your app to workout - live videos + sweating + lots of laughs! I’ve met amazing people and you were there all the time. The motivation to work out took control of me. I was feeling good emotionally even with a lot of personal issues around (it was therapy for me.) Now that I have Förena I can’t go to bed without doing 10k steps … I’m All in to sports again, living a healthy life and so grateful for meeting AMAZING people on there ! Caring For My Mind & Body
“Working with Jen and all of great people on this app has helped me feel like myself again after having my daughter 5 years ago. The 60 pounds I gained with my pregnancy just hung around year after year even though pre-baby I was always committed to fitness. And those pounds really represented my inability to balance taking care of my family with taking care of myself and my inability to find a comfortable space in my new life as a mom. My journey with Jen started with a fitness challenge and I joined the app after and have been on the app for over a year now. For the first time in years, I found something that I can happily commit to. I rarely miss workouts and it never feels like a chore. It helps that the workouts are compatible with a home gym. I have lost 50 lbs and can wear most of my pre-pregnancy clothes.
