Feeling Color

As an artist I see colors differently. They often represent how I feel and that guides my brush. But when I use white, which by definition is the absence of all color, why do I feel the most? And in such a variety of ways? Sometimes alone. Other times hopeful or elegant. It’s like I’m able to paint the color with how I’m feeling. Art in reverse. ;)
